terms and conditions of service

1) These terms and conditions form part of a legally binding contract between Thistle Bar Services and the Client. Please read these conditions carefully.

2) If the items in these terms and conditions are not met, we reserve the right to either withdraw our services, make an additional charge to cover our costs or losses in revenue.

3)Thistle Bar Services shall be the sole provider of all beverages at the event, with the exclusion of coffee and tea.

4) A secure parking spot for The Thistle Bar Services’ vehicles and trailer should be made available as close as possible to the venue access point to ensure the smooth running and to facilitating easy loading off and unloading of additional stock. The client should also ensure sufficient time between closing of the bar and having to vacate the venue.

5) The client should ensure an electrical power supply at or near the bar location, as well as adequate lighting.

6) Adequate water should be made available for the washing of glasses etc.

7) All your allowable tab drinks are covered by the bar tab until it reaches its limit and then becomes a cash bar. We do have our own card machines should you wish to extend the tab. Payment is due before we action any further sales on your tab.

8) You are welcome to add to your tab, should you wish, by paying with your debit/credit card or cash. A receipt will be provided.

10) Thistle Bar Services shall not be liable in any way whatsoever for injury or fatalities to guests or service providers.

11) Thistle reserves the rights to close the bar/services should guests/party get out of hand.

12) Booking fees and deposit payments: Once bookings are confirmed and deposits have been received, we cannot issue a refund in the unlikely circumstance that your event is cancelled. This is because your tab payment goes directly towards purchasing stock for your event. Should you cancel your date with Thistle, there will be no refund of deposits or payments.
